Astrion is looking for an experienced Junior Ship Master to join our USV Operations & Sustainment program supporting the Navy Division.

This is your opportunity to put your maritime expertise to work supporting 135' Medium Displacement Unmanned Surface Vessels (MDUSVs) and a critical Navy mission.

🚢 WHAT YOU’LL DO Pilot 135' MDUSVs in and out of port and at sea Operate, maintain, and monitor vessel systems Support shipyard maintenance and overhauls Coordinate with Government agencies and subcontractors Help support USV system development and payload integration Lead and communicate effectively with vessel and project teams ⭐ WHAT YOU BRING U.S. Citizenship USCG MMC National Master <200 GRT or higher 3+ years of sea-going experience in a Master position Valid U.S. Passport Current TWIC Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance 📍 THE DETAILS

Location: San Diego, CA Salary: Estimated $85,000+ annually* Travel: Approximately 25% CONUS/OCONUS Schedule: Includes overnight embarked operations

*Salary depends on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
