Job Overview

A Late Night Water Taxi Deckhand is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of a water taxi service during evening and overnight hours. Duties include helping passengers board and disembark the vessel, handling dock lines, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining a clean and organized boat.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the captain with docking and vessel operations.
• Providing excellent customer service and answering passenger questions.
• Loading and unloading passenger belongings and supplies as needed.
• Conducting safety checks and ensuring all safety equipment is readily available.
• Monitoring weather and water conditions and reporting any concerns to the captain.
• Performing basic cleaning and maintenance of the vessel and dock areas.
• Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude while working in a fast-paced nighttime environment.

Successful candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working late-night hours in various weather conditions. Prior boating experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
