Tug Boat Captain

Description:
o Train and monitor deck hand

o Rig shorelines

o Secure barges to pilings

o Shift barges at the dock sides

o Must be able push barges around the port

o Performs daily inspection of equipment and reports repair request to Yard Manager

o Conduct safety training to any personas onboard prior to job execution

Requirements:
o BA degree in Business Administration, or equivalent and/or similar background desirable.

o High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

o Master of towing license required

o Minimum of 7 years’ experience working on barge
