I am currently working with a leading global cruise operator to recruit a Ship Manager to join their Marine Technical Operations team based in Miami, Florida.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marine technical professional to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of a portfolio of passenger vessels, working closely with both shipboard leadership teams and shoreside stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility include:
✅ Vessel operational performance
✅ Technical and maintenance management
✅ Budget ownership and cost control
✅ Dry docks and technical projects
✅ Regulatory compliance and safety management
✅ Warranty and shipyard claim management
✅ Fleet performance improvement initiatives
I am keen to speak with individuals who have:
🔹 Cruise or passenger vessel technical management experience
🔹 A background in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related discipline
🔹 Strong stakeholder management skills
🔹 Experience managing vessel maintenance and operational budgets
🔹 Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer or Senior Engineering Officer (advantageous)
