About the Position

As a Marine Boiler Service Engineer, you will support SAACKE customers worldwide in maintaining and servicing marine boiler and burner systems. You will perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and repairs onboard ships and at shipyards while ensuring safe and reliable equipment operation.

Whether you have experience with marine boilers, industrial boilers, burner systems, steam generation, or combustion equipment, we welcome motivated technicians and engineers who enjoy practical field service work and international travel.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on marine boiler and burner systems.
• Support commissioning and start-up activities for new installations and retrofit projects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Carry out inspections, testing, and performance checks.
• Provide technical support to customers and vessel crews.
• Prepare service reports and documentation after service assignments.
• Support dry-dock and shipyard projects worldwide.
• Identify spare parts and service requirements during customer visits.

Your Profile

• Technical education or apprenticeship in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechatronics
• Industrial Maintenance
• Marine Engineering
• Heating, Boiler, or Combustion Technology
• Or a comparable technical field
• Experience in one of the following areas is beneficial:
• Boiler systems
• Burner systems
• Steam generation
• Thermal oil systems
• Industrial heating equipment
• Marine or industrial service
• Shipyard or power plant environments
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn.
• Customer-oriented and solution-driven approach.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Location: Our Service station is based in South Florida

Preferred Candidates have a proven record as shipyard yard engineer / electrician, ships electrician, boiler engineer / technician, marine or navy technician

Experience with marine boilers is an advantage, but not a requirement. Candidates with experience in industrial boiler and burner systems are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
