Location: Multiple Locations
Pay: $200–$240 per day (based on experience)
Schedule: 2-for-1 rotation
What You’ll Do
Deckhands perform essential physical labor aboard vessels and barges in all weather conditions.
Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Making and breaking tow
- Securing boats and barges
- Line handling and rigging
- Standing lookout watches
- General vessel upkeep (cleaning, cooking, painting, chipping)
- Minor engine room tasks (oil changes, greasing, filter changes)
- Additional duties as directed by the Captain or Mate

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Prior push boat experience highly preferred
- Requirements:
- TWIC card (must maintain)
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum age: 18
- Ability to work holidays/weekends and adapt to changing schedules
- Physical Ability:
- Lift up to 100 lbs.
- Climb ladders, work on uneven surfaces, and in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working aboard boats and barges
Additional Details
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
