Deckhand/Mate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deckhand to join our team. As a Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel. You will assist with various duties including hospitality, rigging, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment.

Vessel: 90 foot Skipper Liner Dinner Boat with twin CAT 3208s engines

Duties:

• Assist with the rigging and maintenance of the vessel
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests on board
• Prepare and serve meals for guests and crew
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vessel
• Assist with docking and undocking procedures
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on deck equipment
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge for maintenance tasks is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license
