Deckhand

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Deckhand to join our team. The Deckhand will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel while providing exceptional customer service to guests. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality on board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the vessel, including rigging and anchoring procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of decks and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of crew members and guests at all times.
• Participate in training sessions and drills to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to deck operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems or equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety practices is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment is essential for success in this role.
