Nauti Paddle
Nauti Paddle is a 20-passenger cruise boat in Burlington Harbor. We are hiring outgoing and friendly crew to assist our Captains in providing these fun tours. Each cruise has a Captain and one crew member. Being a Nauti Crewmember can be an amazing seasonal job for those who like being on the lake and interacting with passengers.
Responsibilities
Cruises: Greeting guests when they board the boat as well as updating trip manifests. Facilitate a fun cruise for the passengers (music, pics, karaoke, etc). Aware of hazards and emergency response protocols. Assisting with cleaning the boat before/after each cruise. Stands navigation lookout watch alongside the Captain. Carry out Captain’s orders. Participates in all onboard drills. Load or unload materials from vessels. Handle lines to moor vessel to the dock.
Promotions: During time slots of inactivity for the boat, the crew member may be tasked with handing out marketing materials on the waterfront/downtown and generating ticket sales.
Requirements
Be friendly, responsible, out-going, hard-working, and able to lift 25 pounds. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with boats is a plus but not required. Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers. Strong focus on customer service. f
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Job Types & Season
Mid-May thru Mid-September, part-time positions available – some weekend and holiday availability is required.
Pay
$20/hr + tips. All gratuities are divided equally between the Captain and the crewmember.
Schedule
Flexibility is important as daily shifts can vary depending upon factors such as weather and bookings. We operate 7 days/week, 9:00am-9:00pm, which offers many shifts options.
