Deckhand

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid drivers license, and have reliable transportation. Must be subject to a background check and be able to obtain a valid Twic card. Must be able to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test, and be subject to a 90 day trial period also including random drug testing. Aspects of the job include heavy lifting, working a swing shift, handling deck/dock related duties, operating power tools.

Primary job duties:

• Handle lines and wires
• Make and break tows
• Maintain barges in tow
• Maintain cleanliness of vessel and barges
• Inpsect equipment
• Chip and paint decks and superstructure of vessel
