Chief Mate - Tugboat

RSC Maritime is working with multiple clients to find Mates of Towing - Wire Work Experience.

Responsibilities : Mate will assist the Captain in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the tug, overseeing towing operations, deck activities, and vessel handling. Stands navigational watch, conducts docking and undocking maneuvers, and ensures adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Participates in training, drills, and audits while supporting overall crew performance and completing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Mate of Towing – Minimum 200T Near Coastal Endorsement
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Valid TWIC Card

Experience : Experience as Mate on wire tugboats, towing astern required. Mud scow towing experience preferred.

Pay : $650-$750 / day DOE and Company

Schedule : Equal time and 2/1 schedules Available

Start Date : ASAP & within the month
