The Role
-
Command of tugs in West Coast towing operations
-
Safe navigation and vessel handling in the waters of Western Alaska, Washington, and British Columbia

Leadership of crew and coordination with shoreside operations

Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism
You’ll be working with a team that understands tug operations and supports the crew—not the other way around.
What We’re Looking For
- Mate of Towing (Near Coastal or Oceans)
- Valid STCW and Medical Certificate
- Current First Aid / CPR certification
- Ability to obtain HAZWOPER within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license and U.S. passport
- Experience as Mateon the West Coast strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
