Description

Operate tugs and crew boats as needed in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. In addition but not limited to: Housekeeping, general and preventive maintenance, small repair oversight, AWO inspections, topside USCG inspections, fueling, training, material requests, etc.

Tugs:

Barge shifts and conventional ship assist (Inland work).

Crew boats:

Passenger transportation and palletized cargo transportation (Inland work).

Schedule:

2 Weeks on 2 Weeks off, equal time. Live aboard position at the Alameda Facility (boats moor at night, mostly day work). Or, a special local schedule would be considered.

Pay:

Depends on license size, endorsements and experience. Food allowance and general allowance provided per shift.

Employees are paid by direct deposit twice per month (ADP payroll service).

Requirements

200 Ton Master of Towing Inland with/

- Radar

- FCC

- TWIC

- First Aid/CPR

- A 500 ton master without a master of tow would be considered contingent on workboat experience. MEI would assist with TOAR and training requirements to gain the master of tow endorsement.
