Duties

• Assist with rigging and unrigging dredging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Support the deck crew in maintaining vessel cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Operate mechanical systems and tools under supervision, applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
• Participate in safety drills, inspections, and emergency response procedures to uphold safety standards

Skills

• Basic rigging skills with the ability to handle ropes, pulleys, and lifting equipment confidently
• Mechanical aptitude to understand vessel systems and assist with routine maintenance or troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
