Job Description POSITION PURPOSE Andersen is looking for a responsible, respectful, and extroverted individual with excellent customer service skills to serve as a deckhand for summer boat trips on Andersen’s historic Glengarry boat. The position is responsible for ensuring guests of the Glengarry have a safe and enjoyable experience on excursions down the St. Croix River. The deckhand will provide a second set of eyes to the boat captain while on the river and should have a basic understanding of boating and boating safety. This is a part-time position and will be scheduled based on cruise reservations. Shifts will be approximately 2 ½ hours in length, and may occur in the afternoon or early evening from late spring through September.

Direction Of Others This employee will report to the Events and Experience Supervisor. Specific on duty cruise direction will be given from the captain.

Pay Range $18.05 - $26.15

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
