To support our growing fleet, we are looking for a skilled Marine & UTV Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on marine vessels (boats, jet skis, etc.) and UTVs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems for both watercraft and off-road vehicles.
- Conduct pre- and post-rental inspections to ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, engine tune-ups, tire checks, and brake inspections.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and parts used for each vehicle.
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering advice on vehicle safety and operation.
- Stay current with industry trends and repair techniques for both marine and UTV equipment.
- Assist with general upkeep of the rental fleet and ensure proper storage when not in use.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic, specifically with marine vessels and UTVs.
- Strong understanding of marine and off-road vehicle systems (engines, suspension, electrical, fuel, etc.).
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working in both outdoor and indoor environments with varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Marine & UTV mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred.
