MARINE MECHANIC/ SERVICE TECHNICIAN: Excellent opportunity to work with an exciting company! International Manufacturer of propulsion equipment for the marine industry seeks skilled, hands on Technicians for factory assemblies, off-site service jobs and various production floor duties as needed. May require travel and/or overnight travel for certain off-site service work, candidate must be comfortable working on yachts and in marina environments,mechanically skilled, proficient with hand tools, comfortable with reading job orders, enthusiastic, reliable and responsible. We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine propulsion systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance and customer service, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation. When not on service, the candidate will be in the factory responsible for various production duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perfom servcie in marine vessels.
• Utilize hand tools
• Assemble and disassemble parts as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vessel's needs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance techniques relevant to marine applications.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• General technical knowledge.
• Competence in assembly techniques using hand tools.
• Previous experience as a service technician in a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
