About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Marine Service Technician to join our fast-paced service department. If you have a passion for excellence and a deep understanding of marine propulsion systems, we want you on our docks. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vessels to ensure our customers stay on the water and out of the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, winterization, tune-ups).
- Diagnose and repair inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, bilge pumps, and navigation electronics.
- Maintain clear service records and communicate status updates to the Service Manager.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in marine mechanics.
- Manufacturer certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo Penta, etc.) are a major plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
