Our Freeport Terminal (FTI) is a full-service intermodal facility featuring barge, rail, and truck offload and reload capabilities located in Freeport, Pennsylvania on the Allegheny River. This all-product facility offers specialization in both liquid and dry bulk handling, storage, and processing. FTI sits on 35-acres with significant bulk commodity storage as well as under-roof warehousing. We also have eight million gallons in liquid bulk storage available for truck to tank, to barge transfers and vice versa.
Job Description
Freeport Terminals, Inc. (FTI) is seeking a full time Tank Operator to assist in the loading and unloading of tanker trucks and barges to and from storage tanks. The applicant must have the ability to maintain storage tank temperatures via heating pumps, read regulating gauges, follow all safety guidelines, handle all necessary paperwork, and have the communication skills necessary to work with truck drivers and other terminal personnel. This position requires obtaining the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card, and the application requires two forms of government approved ID and a completed background check. Maintaining the card will require passing random drug testing. You will be working outside year-round. We require punctual employees. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and willingness to help with whatever tasks are required. Training is provided and advancement opportunities are available.
