Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deckhand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel while providing exceptional service to our guests. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, hospitality skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the vessel, including maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Perform mechanical checks and routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met during their time on board.
- Assist with rigging and handling lines during docking and undocking procedures.
- Support the cook in meal preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the galley.
- Monitor safety equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in emergency drills and respond effectively to any emergencies that may arise.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Deckhand or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Background in hospitality or customer service will enhance guest experiences on board.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued in this position.

Pay: $250.00 - $450.00 per day
