Working from our satellite location in Little Creek, Norfolk, VA, Atlantic Wind Transfers is seeking a Senior Deckhand/AB for work aboard our offshore wind Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV). This is a full-time position paying a competitive wage. This role is not scheduled on rotations and does not provide housing; applicants must be based or plan to be based locally in Norfolk, Virginia.
Job Description: The Senior Deckhand aboard our CTVs assists the Master in the day-to-day operation of the boat, ensuring that all operations are conducted within our company safety, security, operations, and vessel management policies and procedures. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to: managing crew, performing vessel maintenance, and ensuring the safety of offshore workers.
Qualifications: This role requires STCW Basic Safety and a TWIC card. Additional offshore wind industry-specific training and coursework will be provided upon successful hire. Participation in the Company Drug Testing Program is required. Applicants must be self-motivated, hardworking, have a positive attitude and possess the ability to interact well with passengers and coworkers.
