Senior Marine Electrical Engineer at Hardware FYI

Develop and engineer marine electrical systems for new vessel construction and fleet sustainment.
Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans and procedures for critical electrical systems.
Coordinate and oversee contractors performing build execution and maintenance activities on marine vessel electrical systems.
Troubleshoot problems, diagnose faults, recommend repairs, and develop repair scopes.
Improve upon system design to mitigate repetitive failures and increase reliability.
Develop drawings and specifications to define requirements for vessel repairs and modifications.
Perform work in compliance with applicable standards for marine applications.
Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience with complex electrical design, operations, and maintenance.
Experience in subcontract management of suppliers.
Strong project management and team leadership skills.
Demonstrated project planning and schedule development capabilities.
Strong safety mindset and experience in hazardous operations.
Desired: Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain certification.
