Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Engineer located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Marine Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on ships and marine equipment. The role includes ensuring the vessel's systems and machinery operate safely and efficiently, providing technical support, and collaborating with other crew members to address engineering challenges. Additionally, the Marine Engineer will ensure compliance with maritime regulations and follow best practices for operational performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Marine Engineering and experience in the Marine Industry
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance & Repair techniques and practices for marine equipment
• Understanding of Maritime standards and regulations
• Experience or background in the Navy or related fields is beneficial
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with modern technology and tools used in marine engineering
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
