What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines (gas & diesel).
- Perform maintenance, commissioning, and winterization.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical (12V), plumbing, steering, fuel, and control systems.
- Rig and install accessories, pumps, electronics, and components.
- Use diagnostic software and service manuals.
- Provide accurate notes on work performed and parts needed.
- Work both indoors and outdoors, in the shop and occasionally in the field.
- Deliver repairs that meet high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Marine, automotive, diesel, or mechanical experience required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and think independently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Comfortable working around water, heights, and tight spaces.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Own basic professional tools (specialty tools/diagnostics may be provided).
- OEM or ABYC certifications are a plus – willingness to pursue training is highly valued.
