Marshland Equipment Rentals, LLC is seeking an experienced Tug Captain for operations based in Cameron, Louisiana. Candidates must possess a valid USCG Master 100 Ton License with Towing Endorsement and demonstrate safe vessel operation experience in inland and coastal waters.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and navigate tug vessels
- Supervise crew and daily vessel operations
- Maintain compliance with USCG and company safety policies
- Complete vessel logs, inspections, and required reports
- Coordinate towing and marine support operations
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of vessel
Requirements
- Valid USCG Master 100 Ton License with Towing Endorsement
- Current TWIC card
- Valid medical certificate
- Knowledge of inland and coastal waterways
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work rotational schedules as needed
- Prior tugboat experience preferred
