Banquet Server and Deckhand

Job Summary
Join our crew and work aboard one of the most unique and historical venues in Marietta! Our Deckhand/Banquet Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests on public and private events. Duties include, but are not limited to, money/cash drawer handling, salad prep and buffet-style food service, bar tending (if of legal age), event space setup and tear down, as well as maintaining the vessel's cleanliness. We are looking for outgoing, hardworking individuals who are excited to share a piece of history with our guests. New hires will be required to pass an initial drug test and remain in a random drug testing pool. Training for additional deckhand duties, such as tying and untying the vessels, will be provided by our staff. Our Deckhand/Banquet Server positions will have an April or May start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service by serving food and beverages at banquets, events, and onboard functions with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, ensuring all tables, linens, and serviceware are prepared to high standards
• Maintain food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to hygiene protocols throughout service
• Support deckhand duties such as assisting with vessel maintenance, safety checks, line handling, and dock operations.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug test.

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
