Finding a new job as a USCG credentialed mariner shouldn't be so hard. That's why we built BrightBoard — a job board that collects and centralizes listings for Jones Act vessels and US shipping companies, all in one place.

The problem is simple: job listings for credentialed mariners are scattered across the web, and the platforms that host them weren't designed with our profession in mind. Companies default to LinkedIn and Indeed for hiring, but those platforms are expensive and don't capture the nuances of the maritime industry. That cost keeps smaller outfits out, so hundreds of jobs end up buried on individual company websites or posted to niche platforms with limited reach.

The result? Mariners struggle to find jobs, and companies struggle to find mariners. It doesn't have to be this way.
